The Highlander, your ultimate destination for a unique blend of traditional Scottish entertainment, food and drink. Nestled in the heart of Inverness, we are the only venue in Scotland that has live Traditional Music played at the venue every single day of the year.

We have some of Scotland’s best acts play 6pm - late each day of the week. With state of the art sound and light, our mission is to create a relaxed environment for guests to wind down, enjoy some incredible food and drink, and listen to real Scottish traditional music. Perhaps a wee ceilidh dance wouldn’t go amiss! 

We’ve sourced our fine selection of beers, gins and whiskeys from local wholesalers, with one of our favourite breweries “Dogfalls Brewing Co” situated only 5 miles from the premises. 

If you’re looking for a good feed and a few quiet drinks, or sampling some of the finest gins and whiskeys and dancing around the tables, which ever is it, you’ll find it at the Highlander!
